Something is happening (at last) . . .

Ten out of fourteen pea plants have sprouted – sown on 2nd April.

Salad bowl lettuce is coming on well

Radish should be planted out soon

Pot marigolds doing well, but not much effort from the nasturtiums

Found some garlic bulbs sprouting in the fridge so thought I’d see what happens

Even a few tomato seedlings are starting to grow.

The problem is that the weather has been so cool/cold that my idea of continuous and repeat sowings has not been possible.  I need to get some of these plants in the ground before sowing more or the new might overtake the old.

But the forecasters say the weather is set to warm up for the weekend and next week, though it doesn’t feel that way.
