Everything is topsy-turvey in the front border . . .

I can’t remember a year when I’ve had spring bulbs flowering and summer perennials in bud at the same time. At this rate, the peonies will be flowering before the aquilegia buds open, and the iris will be over before the narcissi.

UPDATE
Thank you to Paddy, who thinks the narcissi I thought were Tete a tete, may instead be Sun Disc. Any other offers?

Mine (from 2021)
There is certainly a huge flush of growth at present in the garden, positively bursting out all over! That narcissus migh tbe ‘Sun Disc’

I’ll check, but I only ever bought Minnow and Tete a tete, though I suppose they could have been mixed up in the packing.

You could be right, Paddy. When I look at Tete a tete online, the trumpet is longer – more like a daff. So Sun Disc it is – for now 🙂
